Green Engine

Fostering Creative Engineering for a Sustainable Green World (GreenEngine) is an Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education project that modernises engineering education in Uzbekistan and Georgia. It introduces new courses and labs on green engineering, creativity and sustainable development, and connects students with environmental start-ups and innovation ecosystems. As a non-academic partner, GIRI supports curriculum development, links universities with industry and technoparks, and leads communication and outreach activities in Georgia, helping prepare a new generation of engineers for the green transition.

Policy Enlarged

POLICY ENLARGE is a Horizon Europe coordination and support action that strengthens evidence-based research and innovation policy in EU enlargement countries. Building on the previous POLICY ANSWERS project, it supports high-level policy dialogue, develops a shared online information hub, and funds joint initiatives through third-party grants. As the Georgian partner, GIRI contributes national evidence, stakeholder engagement and policy support, helping align Georgia’s research and innovation system with the European Research Area and wider EU priorities.
